A new Spring
Was that another winter?
We seem to have had all four seasons in the past few weeks. First it seemed as though Spring had sprung. Then it became horribly cold (as our heating oil consumption testified). On came the downpours, in what seemed an endless stream, knocking blossom off the trees, and pushing new flowers almost underground again.
But now, suddenly, there are blue skies again. The grass has grown to knee high, the dandelions are unbelievable, and that goosegrass... well! ...blankets of the stuff everywhere. They may be useful plants, both of them, but not it those kind of quantities.
If anyone wants to help keep things under control here in the garden, get in touch!
