Our herbalist makes it into Poland
Great Elm gives up to £1 per physick to Hawes & Cart's Khyrgystan cause

STOP PRESS: Zoe and Spencer have reached Wraclow...

Our intrepid herbalist Zoe is on her way to Khrygystan (where? I hear you say... see below).  She and her husband are driving a £100-ish car across Eastern Europe into Russia and across central Asia to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.The car will be sold in Bishkek and the money going to an orphanage. They are also raising money for Friends of Children of Chernobyl.

GREAT ELM will DONATE  £1 FOR EVERY GIFT SOLD AND 50P PER PRODUCT sold on our website for the next month to Team Hawes and Cart's efforts.

Zoe has been a stalwart at our little organic herbal skincare company, with her inspirational lecturing for our Herb Days, and being utterly generous with ideas and advice for us and our clients.  We love her and her intrepid, brave wonderfulness.  I know all too well the agonies of trying to adopt and the horrible business of waiting for the authorities to get their act into gear, enough to drive you to.. erm, Khyrgystan!  Our family, and our business, will follow her and gorgeous husband Spencer with avid interest. PS: Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous, land-locked country in Central Asia, bordered by Kazakstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the south-west and China to the east.
