Pigs do the work
The Tamworth Four arrive at Great Elm
Pigs. Ginger pigs. Tamworths. The stuff of legendary escapes and wanderings. And they are legendary feeders, snouters, grunters. The idea is that they are going to clear the garden, that part that is completely overgrown with ground elder, hazel, brambles and much, much more. Apparently, they do a much better job at routing out weeds and roots than men with machinery - and the fact is that they're much cheaper too. And environmentally perfect: just feed them pignuts, along with nature's abundant greenery, and they clear and fertilise as they go.
