Join the surge in hands-on pastimes
Recession has brought resurgence to a lot of pastimes much spurned by working mums over the past decades: knitting is now huge, embroidery is needling its way back to popularity, cooking war-time recipes is the talk of columnists left, right and centre (sorry, didn't mean to mention the election...). And now it's make-your-own remedies: gorgeous James Wong has all sorts of women a-quiver watching his take on herbal remedies.
While we can't offer such a handsome guide, we can show you how! At our lovely rural premises, I will demonstrate some simple, very useful, skincare using herbs from our organic garden and other easily-available ingredients. What better activity could there be on Saturday July 3rd 10.00am – 12.30pm? The price includes all your take-home goodies, refreshments and a sample of Great Elm's own physicks.
And there's wonderful Penny Harris doing her veggie thing and cooking up a dream 4-course meal on July 2nd, here at Great Elm - just £45 for the best lunch, recipes to take away and lots more besides.
