A blend of aromatic waters distilled from flowers and herbs chosen especially for their clearing, cleansing, calming qualities. Melissa, often known as lemon balm, is generally uplifting and cleansing too a refreshing, stimulating, heart-lightening oil and hydrosol.

Rosewater was known by the ancients as a particularly good curative for skin. It can help with scars, sunburn, insect bites and minor infections. It can also aid in the reduction of ‘thread’ veins and purify the skin. Cornflower is a traditional – yet rarely used these days – skin tonic, with very gentle clearing and tonic properties. So gentle is it that the French use it to treat eye infections.

It is important, given the delicacy of these hydrosols, to keep this Gentle Toner in a cool and dark place, preferably the refrigerator!

SUITS: all skin types, particularly dry/damaged/mature.

METHOD: pour a little onto a cotton pad and wipe gently over face and neck after thorough cleansing.

STORE: cool, dry place. Out of direct sunlight, preferably in the refrigerator.

USE: within 60 days of opening
