Sweet Bay Oil Salve 100% organic for sore, dry, damaged skin

This bay-leaf balm is an all-purpose soothing salve for dry, split, irritated skin on hands, feet, knees and everywhere in between.

'I love using bay leaf for cooking and had no idea it was a healing herb but now I know and am delighted with this stuff.  I use it for all sorts of annoying things like dry hands and feet, and I've even started using it as a lip balm. Can't find better!'  George J., Battersea, London SW

Sweet Bay is a great traditional antiseptic and pain reliever so what could be better for mixing with nutritious and healing nut oils for use in a hard-working balm?

It can be applied to all sorts of minor skin irritations,  grazes, slight rashes, sore lips and fingernails. Use it as a barrier  against grime and scratches before you start your tough gardening tasks -  or any other mucky household chore. Slap it on before a tough game.  You could even style your hair with it (bay leaf is brilliant for ridding the scalp of dandruff).

Use it, in fact, for anything which you might have - in  the past - used petroleum jelly. Petroleum jelly is from mineral oil,  i.e. it's a petro-chemical:  it does not sink into the skin and can dry  out skin rather than moisturise, never mind that engine fuel might not  be too healthy up close and personal.

We use vitamin rich apricot kernel and sweet almond oils, both known for their highly nutritious, deeply penetrating, skin-nurting qualities.

Sweet Bay Balm has a wonderful peppery smell and the quickly absorbed nut oils work to heal,  nourish and generally take care of your skin. The beeswax thickener is also full of soothing healing and makes sure the salve stays where you want it!

Beeswax thickens this salve but it has many other benefits: it holds moisture and reduced dryness,  and forms a barrier that protects against the ravages of weather.

TREAT YOUR HANDS AND NAILS: This salve can be a great help to  overwrought hands that need particular attention. After thorough  cleansing with the English Gardener's Herbal Hand Cleanser, apply  especially to nails and knuckles. Then work some of the English  Gardener's Herbal Hand Cream into your hands. They will feel fabulous!

METHOD: massage into affected area as often as necessary.
